As I was going through all my stuff, I started to think about all the stuff I may miss once I get over there and I decided to make a list of predictions.
- My cats
- My dogs
- My family
- My friends
- The folks I work with
- sadly, working at Target
- Not paying rent
- Living in Milwaukee
- Having a car
- Having a bike
- Speaking English
- Being understood when I talk
- Going to movies
- Knowing my way around
- Living in more than one room
- A real shower
- Lack of pollution
- Food I am used to
- Many other things I haven't thought of yet....
Writing out this list also made me start to think of things I most certainly will not miss.
- Owning a car
- Living with four other people
- Working at Target
- Milwaukee
- The political terminal
- Light Beer
- All the fast food here
- The lack of taste in our food
- Again, other stuff I can't think of at the moment.
That is all I got as of now. We will see what I miss when I actually there, I bet it will surprise us all. I am still just waiting on an interview opportunity. I have narrowed down the area that I am hoping to get a position in. I have been reading up on the area around Daejeon, Ulsan, and Busan and I really love the climate and geography of that area. It looks like a beautiful place to be and it is a little warmer than the rest of the country. Hopefully I get to be in that area and hopefully I will have enough time to be really prepared before I get the job.
