I want to start off with something to make you laugh. This is what happens when my puppy is super happy. He make the creepiest face I have ever seen. Captions Welcome.
This week is looking to be pretty crazy. Today I am heading up to Columbus with Kim to the huge antique store there. It fills three floors in three warehouses and is packed full of old rusty junk and lovely little treasures. Our main purpose in going there is to find old keys, watches, and other interesting bits to make jewelry out of. Our second purpose is to go see what new things they have gotten in this year. She and I make at least two trips a year to this place and we always seem to find one or two perfect things.
Tomorrow we are heading down to UWM to pick up books and IDs and so I can pay my fees and sign up for the Korean Language course there. I guess that while I wait to be accepted to a school there I can use the time to learn their language and save up money. I spent awhile yesterday talking to my aunt who went to teach in Australia after she graduated from school. She told me that it took her almost two years to finally get over there after months of maybes and fall-throughs, and just plain ridiculous stuff. She also told me not to give up and that it was worth every minute of waiting.
On friday I have to work early on and then I am heading to Six Flags with Kim and the people from work. They are having a Target Day there and employees and friends pay only $28 with parking included. We get to wear fun wristbands that say private party and the park will be open three extra hours for us. The waterpark will also be open about five hours just for Target employees and guests. I tried to get Dana to come along, but since she is moving the next day, she will be a little busy.
Saturday I want to go back to the Ren Fair for their Steampunk Day but I think I may be a bit burned out by that time. I also don't think I can really afford it at this point. Perhaps my day would be better spent pulling the last of the weeds in my garden and replanting the peas and beans and lettuce and radishes for their second round. I will also take some pictures to show off how wonderful it all looks now that I can finally work outside with being sucked dry. And I can plant the pots I have for my herbs for winter. That sounds like a better plan then the Ren Fair.
As you see, a long, fully packed few days ahead.
