Musicals and Comic Strips

Last week I went to the Musical "Mozart L'Opera Rock" here in Daegu.  I think that the original was in french, but here in korea, they translate everything into Korean, which was awesome and crap at the same time.  Awesome because it was a great show and super fun to watch and here.  And crap because at least with french I have a chance of understand a good chunk of the words.  In korean, I knew like four words and spent the rest of the show with no real clue what was happening.  I still recommend This musical to everyone who gets a chance to see it.  Visually, it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen.  The costumes and scenery was amazingly well done.  And the voices those actors have...?  Holy monkeys, they were amazing.  It wasn't as rock and roll as other rock operas I have seen but it had some truly amazing songs in it.one of my favorites was Le Bien Qui Fait Mal.

I also had my students write comic strips this weekend and all I am going to say about it is this... My students are seriously disturbed young people.  I worry about them sometimes.  Super smart too.
