Hey there.

This page is just to let anyone reading this know what's going on and the reasons for my writing this blog.  I am going to be Moving to South Korea in August, 2011.  I have never left the US before, I can't speak Korean, I don't know yet where I am going, or where I am living, or even how I am getting there.... But I am not letting those things stop me.

I have been thinking on and off about doing this for about a year now.  And, as the beginnings of the blog show, I take a long time to make up my mind about something.  I have decided, at long last, that I am going to take the plunge and do it.  I don't care that I have no clue what I am doing.  I am going to live my life and take risks while I am still young.

Some of the not so awesome things about going to South Korea will be leaving behind everything I know and going to a completely new environment where I know no one and can't even speak the language.  At the same time, those are some of the coolest things about going there.

This blog is set up to chronicle my "journey" to Korea from start to finish, including the six months of me trying to make up my mind to go.  Also included are problems and struggles from my daily life, including my fight to get healthy, my issues in live, and my general opinion of the world.  I have spiced it up with some of my creative writing, reviews of books and games, food, and other odds and ends.

It should be pretty interesting, and I will try to keep it fresh.  With me though, it is always random and entertaining and last minute. I guess it the ADD in me.  Life is amazing and I want to get everything I possibly can out of it before the world implodes.  (kidding about world imploding)
